			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The historic <strong>Everest Skydive</strong> event came to a finale today. 41 <strong>Solo</strong> and <strong>Tandem Jumpers</strong> skydived in front of the World&#8217;s Highest Peak and landed on the <strong>highest drop zone</strong> in the world, <strong>Shyangboche</strong> (12,350ft.). Their names have made it the international record books.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">1st Group</span></strong></p>
<p>In the first group, except for Fareed Lafta who jumped from an altitude  18,000ft, the rest of the dives were made from 29,500ft.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The actual jumps of the Everest skydive took place this morning in Shyangboche. 10 solo and 3 tandem jumpers made their actual jumps today. Wendy Smith became the first solo jumper to land at the drop zone at 6:17am (local time). She jumped from a height of 22,000ft. Explore Himalaya&#8217;s trek guide Nima Tamang became the first Nepali to make a tandem jump (with Steve Hennessey) from a height of 22,000ft.</p>
<p>The jumpers were flown in 4 groups. All the jumps were made from Pilatus Porter aircraft.</p>
