About Everest Skydive Adventure 2008
In its quest to introduce innovative and adventurous events in the Nepal Himalayas, Explore Himalaya in partnership with High & Wild, UK is organizing an exciting aerial event. After the completion of a successful test jump at the Drop Zone (the highest in the world at 29,000+ ft.) by the managing team of the Everest Skydive program, the stage is all set a record breaking event: the highest as well as the first ever skydiving event over the Everest region. October 2008 shall see solo and tandem divers attempting jumps from a height of 29,000+ ft. over Mt. Everest.
This adventure surpasses any experience in skydiving so far. The Mount Everest Skydive pushes the boundaries harder and higher, for this is a challenge taking skydiving into two harsh and extreme environments – high altitude plus extreme cold.
